About the Studio

Hello, and welcome to Tiny Horse Studio! Tiny Horse Studio hails from the American Southwest and focuses on illustration, design, and fiber arts. I enjoy working with animals, ideas, and everyday objects. You can find those here, so come in and stay a while.

About the Name

The studio is named after my cat, Lucy. When I adopted Lucy in 2012, she was a very spirited kitten. She enjoyed treating the small apartment like her own personal racetrack. On one of her many loops, a friend commented that it was funny that such a small kitten could make such a loud noise. He said that her loud galloping sounded like a tiny horse or a small dog. The phrase stuck, and has been bouncing around in my brain since.

So, in memory of her, I am still creating all hours of the day and night. I think she would approve.
