Franz Kafka Museum

New identity for the Franz Kafka Museum in Prague. The museum features three of Kafka's most famous works: A Country Doctor, In the Penal Colony, and The Metamorphosis. Includes a promotional poster series, animation, stationary, catalog, and wordpress page. His actual handwriting is utilized throughout the collection.

This animation was made to promote the Franz Kafka exhibit at the Franz Kafka Museum. It uses sound, imagery, and movement to tie it to his stories. *Music: "Agnus Dei II" by Alarm Will Sound.

The poster series utilizes the mood set in his works - his use of language sets an unusual atmosphere. The posters can stand on their own, or they can line up to form one continuous image.

The catalog would be used as a promotional piece for the exhibit. It details the life and life works of Franz Kafka - You learn about his life, his works and his most commonly used themes. The catalog is hand-bound in leather by me and screen printed with gold ink.
